Dr. Emanuel Kapetanakis was among the first surgeon’s in Europe to introduce operative laparoscopy in 1990 into gynecology.

He has worked among the leaders in the field of minimal invasive surgery (such as Drs. Hassan, Rotman, Magrina, Kho), and is considered a pioneer in his field.

Since then, and with the addition of Dr. Vasilis Kapetanakis from Mayo Clinic U.S.A, they have performed hundreds of laparoscopic, robotic and hysteroscopic procedures with excellent results.

They have organized multiple educational seminars and symposia and have participated in several international and national meetings, receiving international recognition for their contribution in the field of minimal invasive surgery.
